Snowmaking day one! Come up tonight and see the guns in action! The Snovember Film Series At Eaglecrest! starts at 6:00 PM with a $10 spaghetti dinner, followed by the Juneau premiere of Warren Miller’s Timeless! Louie’s Douglas Inn will serve beer & wine at Eaglecrest’s Old Tower Bar!
Our three new HKD Snowmakers Vipers are absolutely crushing the Hooter Chairlift base right now! These air/water guns are hooked up to an air compressor, plus we’ve got our portable booster pump giving them extra water pressure to be uber-efficient!
The rest of the fleet are conventional fan snow guns. We’ve got nine running on Porcupine and three more at the Ptarmigan base. Snowmaking temps/humidity should hold through early Monday morning!
