Visit skieaglecrest.com/conditions for important operational announcements, weather, terrain status, forecasts, and webcams. Call the Snow Phone at (907) 790-2000 x2.

Opening Day is scheduled for Saturday, December 7, 2024. Closing Day is Sunday, April 13. Eaglecrest’s regular schedule is Wednesday through Sunday with daily operations over Christmas & Spring Breaks and MLK & Presidents’ Day Weekends. All three chairlifts run every operating day, weather permitting.

OPENING DAY UPDATE 12.4: Porcupine Chairlift will be operating from 9 AM – 3 PM and lift tickets will be $22/day this Saturday and Sunday. With a limited base of natural snowfall on the lower mountain and continuous rain in the forecast, we will not be opening the upper mountain this weekend.

We are offering 50% off lift tickets to those who bring non-perishables for our canned food drive for donations to the Southeast Alaska Food Bank. That’s $11 to ski and get your legs under you.

Here are the details for this weekend:
– Ticket Window opens at 8:30 AM
– Rental and Repair will be open at 8:30 AM
– Retail shop will open at 8:30 and is re-stocked for the season!
– Mountain Lift Coffee will be open
– The Eaglecrest Grill will be open (more on the menu to come). Feel free to bring lunch and picnic in the Fish Creek Great Room.
– The snow bus will not be operating. The full schedule is now available on the website.
– Pittman’s Pub will be closed

We will continue to monitor the snow depth around the mountain to add in additional terrain as soon as possible. Thanks to the crew’s efforts of 12 days of around-the-clock snowmaking, they have buried both main runs in the Porcupine area.

For those hell-bent on going uphill, friendly reminder that dogs are not allowed on the mountain while we are operating. Please be safe and make smart choices with our limited snowpack.

Everyone on the Eaglecrest team wants to ski the upper mountain too… however, we are so excited to see our ski community again and take some turns with you all on Porcupine.
