Night #1: Warren Miller’s Timeless:
Saturday, November 9th: 6pm Doors / 7pm Show – Spaghetti Dinner!
Get ready to kick off this winter with Warren Miller’s 70th-anniversary film! Featuring ski legends like Glen Plake, alongside newcomers Caite Zeliff, Jaelin Kauf, and Baker Boyd. Road-trip with rippers from Arlberg to the Matterhorn, be immersed in the hometown hill of Eldora and discover a different side of Jackson Hole, plus much more.
Night #2: Alaskan Extremes + Backcountry Film Festival
Saturday, November 16th: 6pm Doors / 7pm Show – Pulled Pork Dinner!
Alaskan Extremes is a throwback film from Juneau legend Bruce Griggs and features big terrain from all over Southeast! The Backcountry Film Festival is produced each year by Winter Wildlands Alliance as a celebration of the human-powered experience and a gathering place for the backcountry snowsports community. This year’s line up of ten films can be found here.
Night #3: Teton Gravity Research’s Winterland + Bad Larry’s Just Livin
Saturday, November 23rd: 6pm Doors / 7pm Show – Taco Dinner!
Winterland is a celebration of ski and snowboard culture. Today’s mountain athletes can only stand as tall as those who came before, these pirates of the past, who followed their own joy and passions. This story of adventure and passion is far from over, as a new crop of modern-day pioneers are eager to etch their names in the annals of history.
About Snovember
The Snovember Film Series was created by Chris Miller and Sandy Miller and has long been a mainstay event for Juneau’s outdoor enthusiasts. Eaglecrest is honored to host this year’s Snovember events, but must first thank Chris and Sandy for their generous and big-hearted efforts to build excitement for winter and raise funds for the community over the years. Sandy is the skier featured in the photo above, and Chris is the photographer.
