Online registration is now open for multi-week Youth Programs! Midweek programs for Homeschool and Virtual Learning Groups must call or email to register!

Eaglecrest’s Snowsports School will look a bit different this season as we adapt to keep our community students, guests and staff healthy and safe.  Skiing and snowboarding are the best ways to enjoy winter in Juneau, and we  want to give families options to keep students engaged in outdoor activities.

The Snowsports School will have new safety measures in place for registration, rental equipment, and instruction. All lessons and programs will be 1 ½ hours and offered three times each day (9:30 AM, 11:30 AM, and 1:30 PM) with smaller class groups and more lesson options. Advanced reservations are required.

Homeschool & Physical Education (P.E.) Mid- Week Programs

Eaglecrest has and will continue to offer a 10-week Homeschool option for many years. This program is still available for students enrolled in Idea, Raven, Homebridge, Independent, as well as virtual learning students at home. We have added additional times and days offered.

New for this winter, Eaglecrest will offer a six-week Physical Education (P.E.) program to our mid-week schedule. Students will choose one discipline (alpine skiing or snowboarding) and will take lessons in that discipline throughout the program. Classes will not be offered prior to January 13th or after April 9th.

Multi- Week Weekend Programs

The Snowsports School has made some changes to the regular weekend programming for the 2020-2021 winter season. All multi-week Youth Programs will be six weeks and offered in two sessions (twelve weeks total if enrolled in both sessions). We have adjusted this to have smaller class sizes and more program offerings spread across new lesson times. Adult Programs will remain four weeks with the new lesson times.

Related: Eaglecrest’s 2020-2021 regular operating schedule is shifting to Wednesday through Sunday. Opening Day is scheduled for Saturday, December 5, 2020.
