Greetings Eaglecrest Family,

We hope this message finds you and your families happy and healthy. With the cold crisp morning air and changing colors on the mountain, I hope you are all just as excited for the winter season as we are. To go with the excitement, I’m sure you also have questions about what this winter may look like as the COVID-19 pandemic surrounds our daily lives.

Over the summer months, Eaglecrest staff have been immersed in learning from our ski industry partners, public health officials, and local CBJ Emergency Operations Command to develop clear operational parameters for the coming ski season. Please review the 2020-2021 COVID-19 Phased Operations Plan at skieaglecrest.com/covid19. We will need all of your help to ensure that we can have a full season sharing great times with our mountain family.

Operations at the mountain will be different this season, but we are committed to staying safe and staying open. Exercise outside in the open air is one of the best things we can do for our mental and physical wellbeing. We look forward to providing a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment for you to enjoy Juneau’s amazing winter bounty.

While we wait for the Eaglecrest to reopen for the winter season, please be respectful of social distancing protocols as you pass other groups of hikers and bikers on the mountain and in the parking lot. Please wear your face coverings at all times if you are unable to maintain a social distance.

I look forward to sharing another great season together.

Yours truly,

Dave Scanlan
