Happy New Year from Eaglecrest!
So far, January has been a delightful winter month! We’ve received 8” of new snow, and the bowls have had soft skiing and great views. Temperatures have been nice and cold, ideal for snowmaking. Mountain operations staff are filling in the base and adding more groomed terrain as conditions allow. Cross country skiing on the Upper Nordic Trails has been excellent as well!
This Saturday and Sunday was the first weekend for Eaglecrest’s Snowsports School Youth Programs! We had around 120 students on the mountain with our talented instructors. The Sunday First Time Special for adults also sold out! Please refer your friends to the Snowsports School while space is available! Call (907) 790-2000 x211.
Eaglecrest is open tomorrow, Monday, January 6th. We will be closed Tuesday and Wednesday before re-opening Thursday, January 9th! Eaglecrest’s operating schedule will be Thursday to Monday, until we are back to daily operations over Spring Break in March.
