Slush Fest 2019

Eaglecrest is throwing a party this Sunday, March 31! Join us in celebrating the fantastic 2018-19 winter season!

This sunny spring weather has been shrinking the snowpack. We don’t have the snow to safely host the pond skim, so this year’s Slush Cup is now Slush Fest!

We’ll have live music, BBQ, and a beer garden* at the base of the Ptarmigan Chairlift. We’ll also run the lift for an extra hour until 5:00 PM. *Permit approved!

The BBQ will be open from 11:30 AM through the last chair, and the music will start at 2:00 PM. It’s free admission, and all ages are welcome. Non-skiers and snowboarders can hike up to the chairlift base and enjoy an open-air concert and festive mountain atmosphere! Juneau Soul and Jizzle Fizzle will be performing.

Also, the U12 & U14 State Championship Races are this weekend, so come early and support ski racing programs from all over Alaska!
