Weather report: the upper mountain is re-opening tomorrow. The forecast for January 4th includes a Ptarmigan and Porcupine opening. Ptarmigan will be for expert skiers and riders ONLY as the mountain still has a thin snowpack and numerous unmarked hazards.
Weather models are predicting a wintery mix tonight, but we are optimistic it will come mostly in the form of snow. Here’s to 2024 and the snow that *WILL* fall this year.
