Eaglecrest Uphill Access Update — Winter Stoke Is ON!
As the temps drop and the stoke rises, we know many of you are itching to click into your skins and get those early-season laps. Before you head uphill, take a moment to get dialed on our Uphill Policy so you can chase pow safely and keep the winter vibes high.
First Things First: When Eaglecrest Is Closed
If you’re earning your turns while the mountain is shut down, remember you’re on your own and assume all responsibility. Expect to encounter:
-
Mountain maintenance staff are working daily
-
Snowcats + winch cat cables
-
Snowmachines
-
Snowmaking equipment (snow guns, hoses, and more)
These operations can happen at any time, so keep your head on a swivel and respect all equipment and work areas.
Avalanche Control = NO Go
Before every uphill mission, CHECK THE CONDITIONS PAGE.
If avalanche control work is happening, uphill travel is 100% closed. No exceptions.
Uphill Travel When Eaglecrest Is Not Operating
You must stay well clear of:
-
Snowmaking equipment
-
Hoses and cables
-
Heavy machinery
Give crews the space they need so we can all enjoy a smooth, snowy season.
