The Juneau Disc Golf Club installed a temporary 18 hole disc golf course on Eaglecrest’s Porcupine Learning Area for a tournament on June 5-6. The tournament was successful and the course is fun, so we are keeping it open to the public on a trial basis.
The ground is sensitive. If we start to see negative impacts from the increased foot traffic, we will suspend the course. Please use caution and watch for running water and holes. Course recommendations are:
- Tall waterproof boots with insulation (or wool socks)
- Change of clothing
- Change of footwear
- Raingear
