COVID-19 INFORMATION

Updated January 22, 2021

In an effort to keep our staff, guests, and community healthy, safe, and enjoying the great outdoors, Eaglecrest will follow a new operations plan. We all want to enjoy the entire winter safely on the slopes and riding the chairlifts! We all have to do our part!

OPERATIONS PLAN

Our goal is to provide safe and consistent operations while limiting the risk of COVID-19 transmission. Face coverings required outdoors whenever you are not actively skiing or snowboarding and indoors at all times.

  • Access to the ski area is prohibited if you have or are experiencing symptoms of COVID-19.
  • Stay home if you are sick or at risk. Seek testing immediately if you have symptoms.
  • Your presence at the ski area during the COVID-19 pandemic is at your own risk. By choosing to be here you acknowledge and accept the risk associated with COVID-19.
  • If you are unwilling or unable to comply with our policies, you agree to leave the ski area immediately.
  • You are solely responsible for complying with ski area, local, and state policies.

TIP OF THE WEEK

SKI WELL, BE WELL

The National Ski Areas Association (NSAA) supports a thoughtful return to outdoor winter recreation. An advisory group of ski industry leaders developed the Ski Well, Be Well operational best practices based on scientific guidelines from experts.

Eaglecrest has adapted many of these best practices for our ski area operations and appropriate local COVID-19 response.

LETTER FROM THE GM

Friday, January 22, 2020

Greeting Eaglecrest Skiers & Riders,

I want to extend my sincere thanks and appreciation to all of our guests for doing your part in following our COVID-19 policies and procedures. Due to all of your cooperation, we’ve had a very successful start to the season.

As we prepared for a winter that would be like no other, there was a myriad of unknowns. Fortunately, we have much to be thankful for. The days are getting longer, the sun is shining, and we’ve had some pretty incredible days on the mountain. Early season snowmaking helped us survive two rough patches of weather, and Mother Nature has delivered the goods in-between!

This weekend we’re adding new propane heaters and seating arrangements in tents located slope side of the Fish Creek Lodge. Keep in mind, face coverings are required inside the tents unless you are actively eating or drinking.

We know two things: the most important thing for all of our guests is keeping the lifts turning, and life during a pandemic provides no guarantees. Since there’s still plenty of uncertainty, our new Winter Operations Plan is to keep doing everything that we have been doing for the first seven weeks of the season, with some small changes.

All of the details can be found at skieaglecrest.com/covid19.

With all of your continued support and understanding, we’re looking forward to a long, healthy season, spring goggle tans, and big smiles! By this time next winter, the “tips up, masks up” signs will hopefully become a [socially] distant memory of the season we rode during COVID!
