The Powder Keg Cup’s third and final race is complete. Thank you to all the racers, supporters, Nugget Alaskan Outfitter, and Foggy Mountain Shop for their generous prize donations!

The third race matched the first race with 44 total racers. The fastest men’s time was Alex Burkhart at 31 minutes and 14 seconds. The fastest’s women’s time was Iris Neary at 37 minutes and 45 seconds. The final race route was dealer’s choice, no designated route up or down.

Through all three races, we’ve had 75 individual participants, 38 of which competed in two or more races. With only a few exceptions, everyone managed to improve their times each week. We owe a special thanks to the 16 men and women who competed in all three races! Great job!

Final standings through three races will be announced shortly. Overall division champions were crowned based on the average of a racer’s best two scores.
