Hello Everyone, it is amazing how fast the months tend to go by and I find myself again surprised that Memorial Day Weekend and Graduation are behind us. As summer arrives, we’re watching the patches of snow recede further up the mountain and our summer trails reemerging from the winter’s blanket of snow. I want to thank you all for another great winter season and for all of your continued support.
We are looking forward to another busy summer of lift repairs, trail maintenance, and improvements to our snowmaking system. Focus is already looking ahead to next season so we can deliver the best possible skiing and riding in December no matter what type of weather mother nature wants to throw our direction. Launch of next year’s season’s pass sales will be quickly upon us on July 5th. Tier one sales will run through Monday September 4th. Payment plans will be available again only during the month of July. Improvements to the webstore and integration with our ticketing system are also underway to provide more seamless options to keep you from waiting in line at the ticket window.
New for this summer we are hosting summer youth camps. We are excited to start expanding our summer offerings as we lead up to our new summer operations. There are a couple remaining spots for kids ages 12-14. Transportation will be provided as part of the summer camp packages.
By mid-summer, we hope to be underway with road and access trail construction for the Gondola installation project. The majority of the construction will be happening in the summer of 2024. Our target is to have the Gondola ready for the summer of 2025 and the winter of 2025/2026. We are currently working on tree and brush cutting under the Gondola with the remaining snow on the upper mountain. We are going to be kicking off a Gondola Blog when construction progress kicks into full swing to keep you all up to date.
