The cabin is situated in the upper parking lot, directly past the new electric vehicle charging station. It’s a spacious two-bedroom cabin with electricity. The cabin offers prime views of Eaglecrest from a distance, with a creek running behind it.
Juneau’s public use cabins are very popular and are often booked many months in advance. The Raven’s Rest Cabin adds another opportunity for Juneau’s families and visitors to experience the outdoors in a beautiful mountain setting. The cabin is open for public day use and private overnight rentals through a reservation system managed by Eaglecrest Ski Area.
The Raven’s Rest Cabin accommodates groups of six with sleeping and common areas. The cabin also features both front and back decks. Guests may reserve the cabin online for overnight rental periods from 5:00 PM to 10:00 AM. Guests with multiple night reservations may store their belongings during day-use hours when the cabin will open to the public as a warming shelter.
