Snow Science Chat: CSO & Avalanches

Gabriel Wolken will be giving a talk at Eaglecrest Ski Area (Juneau, AK) on the role of Community Snow Observations (CSO) in Southeast Alaska. Crowdsourced snow observations can improve our knowledge of snow distribution and help us create better models of avalanches.

Wolken will be sharing the podium with Eran Hood, University of Alaska Southeast, who will be speaking about avalanche reconstruction in the Juneau area.
