Hope you enjoyed Friday’s sun and untracked West Bowl laps. Who knows when we’ll see blue skies again! Snow is forecasted for the foreseeable future.
As of first chair this morning, we had 4.7” of new snow at the summit, 10.4″ in 48 hours, and 59″ in the last 11 days! Yes, don’t look now, but we are hitting our stride with a pretty incredible snowfall streak. Remember last season’s 54-day mindblower?
The National Weather Service’s 1,600′ elevation forecast is calling for 12″ by midnight Sunday, and another 15″ by 9:00 AM Wednesday, March 3! Get ready for an epic close to this weekend and a deep Powder Wednesday next week!
Keep in mind, Eaglecrest is closed Mondays & Tuesdays and backcountry avalanche danger is high. Consider the ski area backcountry when we are not operating and know before you go.
Thank you to all of Eaglecrest’s photographers for capturing this magical, stormy, and sunny stretch of powder!
