Good Morning and Happy Sunny Sunday! This morning we have a base temp of 32 and top temp of 30 degrees this morning with 10-15 mph winds. The West Side and bowls have been starting out closed due to frozen, railroad track conditions. Expect an opening once the sun has time to warm things up. I would say 1-2 PM is when I started to notice some softer snow.
Personally, I had the best time skiing Otter Slide, Cheechako, and Motherlode yesterday. Rinse & Repeat. Sourdough corned up the nicest and is definitely the friendliest lower-mountain exit at the moment. The West Side did end up opening midday when things warmed up, and it was still pretty firm. Nonetheless, a day skiing in the sun is never to be taken for granted.
Fair Warning: Last call for french fries! The grill closes at 1:30 PM today and it’s closed for the rest of the season.

Rentals are only permitted on the Porcupine lift at this time.Your groomed trails today are: Muskeg, Dolly Varden, Stickleback, Sourdough, Williwaw, Otter Slide, Throat, Easy bowl, Motherlode, Cheechako, upper Sluice Box, Black Bear Access, and Raven & Log Jam Runouts. Ptarmigan, Hooter, and Porcupine chairlifts will be open from 9AM - 4PM.
