We don’t want to jinx it, but the weather looks promising this weekend with back-to-back sunny days in the forecast. Join us Sunday for Closing Day festivities: there will be burgers, beer, and live music near the base of Ptarmigan chairlift! Like years past, we will set up a stage and beer garden area, with drinks provided by the Tower Bar and food from the Eaglecrest Grill.
The Tower Bar will only be open at the beer garden location; if you’re looking for a drink, stop by the tent across from the base of Ptarmigan.
The Eaglecrest Grill will operate in the outdoor venue and its standard location; however, the inside location will have a limited menu of chicken strips and fries. We won’t be able to process credit cards outside, so bring cash if you can!
Maybe you’ve heard them play at the Alaskan Bar & Hotel or Juneau Live! Studio. Word has it they’re going on tour soon… We’re excited to announce that a local band, Garden of Agony, will be on stage performing an acoustic set from 11:30 AM – 1:30 PM!
They will be followed by Canadian DJ-duo Pineo & Loeb. They are just wrapping up a tour through the US and finishing their travels in Juneau. We have used their music in several videos, and they have performed at other ski resorts throughout North America. We couldn’t be more stoked to have them play a set at Eaglecrest! Keep an eye out for their other performances in town— the first will be at the Alaskan Bar & Hotel on Tuesday, followed by a set at the Crystal Saloon on Wednesday, 4/13.
