Opening Day 2018 was scheduled for Saturday, December 1, but we’re going to have to wait at least another week for more snow or colder temps. There is good news, though. Our revamped snowmaking system will help us get the mountain open faster than ever.
We’ve added a new pump house and over 2000′ of pipeline to bring water higher up the mountain than ever before, and we recently purchased five more snow guns, which will bring our fleet to 14. If you’re keeping track at home, this time last season we only had four guns!
In the meantime, think snow! We’re keeping a close eye on the weather and staff is ready to blow snow as soon as the conditions allow!
