The mid-mountain quarry off Williwaw was a huge part of our summer, supplying millions of pounds of shot rock for new trails, retaining walls, and flat outdoor spaces. Now we’ve got it all cleaned up and ready for more snow! It’ll be a fun new feature this winter!
You’ll also notice our chairlift loading terminals are much wider. This will allow us to keep the lines spaced for singles, doubles, and staff. It’s our policy this season that everyone rides the lift as a single or within his or her social bubble. Face masks are required whenever you are not actively skiing or snowboarding.
Snowmaking starts November 1st. The snow guns are outfitted with new electronics and ready to blast when the cold temps arrive, hopefully early next week!

GET PRE FITTED FOR RENTAL EQUIPMENT!
The Rental Shop is now open Wednesdays through Saturdays from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM. Face coverings and reservations are required! Please call or email to make an appointment!
Why get pre-fitted?
- If you are not comfortable with being inside buildings or are at high risk, this was designed for you! Guests who are pre-fitted will not have to come inside the Rental Shop. They will be able to pick up rental equipment each day from the Rental Shop’s NEW outside service window on the Porcupine Lodge’s slopeside deck, accessed via the NEW exterior stairs
- If Eaglecrest is operating in Phase 3 of the COVID-19 Operations Plan, rental equipment will only be available for guests who are pre-fitted. Walkup customers will not be able to rent equipment during Phase 3 operations.
