Black Bear Chairlift is now open Saturdays & Sundays 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM, unless otherwise noted on Eaglecrest’s Mountain Report.
This past storm brought us over 10” of nice heavy snow, perfect for growing our snowpack. Conditions are excellent, and the lower mountain settled snow depth has gone up from 14″ to 21″.
Please be advised off-piste terrain is challenging, and groomed trails are limited due to low snow conditions.
Eaglecrest purchased a new and more powerful generator this off-season to operate the Black Bear Chairlift more reliably and at full capacity. The generator is also a crucial part of our snowmaking plans for the future and has power leftover to run snow guns.
Next summer we will complete our pipeline expansion project. This will bring enough water and pressure to successfully make snow on Eaglecrest’s East Side for the first time ever!
