Eaglecrest is awarding four season passes to Juneau area students!

The Hilary Lindh Scholarship was established in 1992 in recognition of Hilary’s dedication to downhill ski racing.  Hilary started skiing in Juneau at an early age and won the U.S. and World Junior Championships in Downhill at age 16. She went on to compete in three Olympics, winning a Silver Medal in 1992. She won the 1997 World Downhill Championship and retired in March of 1997.  Hilary was inducted in to the U. S. Ski Hall of Fame in 2006 and the Alaska Sports Hall of Fame in 2009.

The Hilary Lindh Scholarship awards a complimentary season pass to one girl and one boy in Grades 1-4, and also Grades 6-12. Eaglecrest’s 5th Grade Passport program already provides free lift tickets to Juneau area 5th graders.

All applicants will receive a free rental and lesson package. Eligible applicants must be a resident of the City and Borough of Juneau and attend a Juneau School District school or equivalent.

Applicants will be judged based on competitive spirit and athletic ability.
